Privacy Policy

This page covers storysbuilding.com and the enquiry forms in our ads. Storys Building is at 11 Duncan Street, Toronto, Ontario M5V 3M2.

What we collect

• When you send an enquiry: your name, email, phone number, event type, guest count, event date and message. This applies to the forms on this site and to enquiry forms inside our ads, such as on LinkedIn.
• How you found us: the ad, search or website that brought you here, the page you landed on, and the ad click ID if there was one. Your browser keeps this until you enquire, and it is sent along with the enquiry.
• When you call a number on this site: your phone number, the time and length of the call, and which page or ad led to it.
• When you browse: pages viewed, clicks and scrolling, device and browser, approximate location, and how you arrived. We record visits to see how the site is used. Anything typed into a form is hidden from those recordings.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and plan your event.
• To see which ads and pages lead to enquiries, and spend our advertising better.
• To show our ads to past clients and enquirers, or to people like them, on Meta and LinkedIn. Email addresses and phone numbers are hashed before they are uploaded.

We do not sell your information.

Who receives it

• Our sales team, by email, and our marketing agency, which runs this website and our enquiry tracking.
• Service providers that run parts of the site for us: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Google (Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager, and the map on our contact page), Meta (Facebook and Instagram ads), LinkedIn (ads and lead forms), CallRail (call tracking), PostHog (visit recordings) and the email service that delivers enquiry notifications.

Cookies

Google, Meta, CallRail and PostHog use cookies and similar browser storage. You can block or clear them in your browser settings.
